Rectangle Health's Major Milestones of 2024

This year has been one of remarkable growth and transformation for Rectangle Health. We’ve made significant strides in advancing our technology and expanding our partnerships, as we remain dedicated to supporting healthcare providers. From achieving key certifications to launching innovative solutions, Rectangle Health continues to shape the future of healthcare technology. Here are some of the highlights that make 2024 a year to remember.

Achieving HITRUST Essentials Certification

Rectangle Health earned the HITRUST Essentials, 1-year (e1) Certification for its flagship platform, Practice Management Bridge®. This certification highlights Rectangle Health’s dedication to fundamental cybersecurity controls and information risk management, reinforcing our commitment to protecting healthcare data.

The HITRUST e1 Certification is part of a progressive framework designed to ensure organizations maintain essential cybersecurity practices. With the healthcare industry facing persistent cyber threats, this achievement demonstrates Rectangle Health’s proactive approach to protecting patient information and supporting healthcare providers with secure technology solutions.

Launch of Unified Practice Management Bridge® Platform

In January 2024, Rectangle Health unveiled its unified Practice Management Bridge® platform. Our pioneering solution integrates patient engagement, payments, and compliance management into a single, cloud-based platform. This innovative release marks a step forward in simplifying healthcare operations, making it easier for practices to manage patient interactions and financial processes seamlessly.

The enhanced Practice Management Bridge now includes three core products:

  • Bridge™ Engagement: Manages scheduling, appointment reminders, waitlists, and text communication, handling over 70 million patient messages per month.
  • Bridge™ Payments: Provides features like card-on-file, auto-posting, and patient financing, processing over $9.5 billion in annual patient payments.
  • Bridge™ Compliance: Offers HIPAA and OSHA compliance tools, helping practices avoid costly regulatory fines.

The unified platform delivers measurable results, including a 97% in-office payment collection rate, a 47% reduction in outstanding accounts receivable, and a 15% increase in patient show rates.

Great Lakes Dental Partners Reduces A/R by 65% with Practice Management Bridge®

One of Rectangle Health’s most impactful success stories of 2024 is the transformative partnership with Great Lakes Dental Partners, a Dental Support Organization (DSO) managing over 30 practices across the Midwest. By adopting Bridge Payments, part of the Practice Management Bridge platform, Great Lakes achieved a remarkable 65% reduction in accounts receivable (A/R), significantly improving their financial health and operational efficiency.

Launch of Technology Partnership Program (TPP)

In 2024, Rectangle Health introduced its Technology Partnership Program (TPP) to collaborate with top health tech companies and deliver integrated digital solutions that enhance the patient journey and streamline healthcare operations. This initiative addresses the growing demand for partnerships that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency for healthcare providers.

Rectangle Health’s TPP has already established strategic collaborations with leading health tech companies, including eIVF, RevenueWell, and CareStack. Through TPP, Rectangle Health empowers healthcare providers with cutting-edge tools, enhancing productivity, profitability, and patient care.

Launch of HIPAA Gap Assessment Tool

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing compliance for healthcare providers, Rectangle Health introduced the HIPAA Compliance Gap Assessment Tool in 2024. This innovative solution provides healthcare practices with a fast, comprehensive evaluation of their compliance and risk status, enabling them to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in just three simple steps:

  1. Quick Questionnaire: Practices complete a short, 10–15-minute online questionnaire.
  2. Personalized Report: Upon completion, users receive a customized report detailing their current risk score and compliance status.
  3. Expert Consultation: Practices can then review the assessment with a Rectangle Health compliance expert, who will help identify gaps and provide a tailored remediation plan.

This new tool empowers healthcare organizations to quickly assess their compliance posture, mitigate risks, and maintain adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient data security and reducing the risk of costly violations.
